Pretty in pink

Pau Pau came up to visit and to watch Ella for us for a month or so. She came bearing gifts for Ella including a pretty pink dress. We think she looks very cute in it.

Ella finally looks like a girl now that we can put her in dresses.

First Outing

Ella had her first outing in the trailer today. Tried strapping her in directly but the helmet is still to heavy for her, so she gets to sit in her comfy car seat. Some friends have taken their young children for real rides up in the hills. I don't think that I will be allowed (or particularly inclined to either)

She's eating human foods

Ella has always been very interested in watching us eat. We waited until she turned 6 months before feeding her baby foods in jars. Now she is eating tofu, avocado, yam, etc. The whole world is opening up.

A day at the Chevalier Farm

May threw a birthday party for Christophe at their farm. It was a 160 acres farm in King City about 2.5 hours from Palo Alto. We received a spirited tour around the farm, got a horse wagon ride, and enjoyed good foods. It was a good day out and a fun experience. I think the kids especially like "the mule", an open top vehicle (see picture above) that the kids were driving. I was a bit nervous with Liam in the mule but he was having a blast.
