Securify no more

A couple of weeks back Securify, my employer for the last 10 years, was acquired by Secure Computing.  Not exactly a retirement enabling event so I shall continue working!  The funny thing is that shortly after acquiring us, Secure Computing itself was acquired by McAfee, the world's largest pure computer security company.

So in the space of two weeks I went from working for a 70 person company, to a 900 person, to a 5000 person company.  Everything changes, yet everything remains the same.

So my history with Securify is

8/98 join Veriguard

10/98 change name to Securify

12/98 Securify acquired by Kroll O'Gara

12/2000 Kroll O'Gara splits apart, Securify spins out

9/2008 Secure Computing acquires Securify

9/2008 McAfee acquires Securify
